I went to an astrology ceremony in March 2023. When I told one of the organizers I didn’t believe in astrology, she nodded sympathetically.
“Yes, well, that makes sense. Aquarians are often skeptical.”
I wouldn’t say that was the moment I got “hooked,” (I’m still a skeptical Aquarian.) But it was the moment I decided to start indulging my long-held curiosity about the woo.
The most accessible of the woo-woo practices to me is consulting the cards. I have several decks. A friend sent me this Wild Unknown Archetypes oracle deck by Kim Krans earlier this year. She said she thought I would like it particularly because I’m a writer. And she was right.
I have been pulling cards and doing readings on myself all year. This reading is the most potent I have ever done. And it speaks to my estrangement.
